Welcome to Castallio. These Terms form a legally binding contract between you and Castallio. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. Introduction

1.1 Welcome to Castallio. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Castallio's website(s), mobile applications, services, courses, content, and related offerings (collectively, the "Platform" and the "Services"). By using the Platform or registering an account you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1.2 These Terms form a legally binding contract between you and Castallio. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1.3 These Terms and Conditions may be amended, updated, or modified at any time at Castallio's discretion. Continued use of the platform after revisions constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

1.4 Castallio is an educational brand and platform operating under applicable corporate laws.

2. Applicable Law & Electronic Records

2.1 These Terms are an electronic record under applicable law and do not require any physical signature.

2.2 These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra.

3. Eligibility

3.1 The Platform is intended for adults who can form legally binding contracts. If you are under 18, you must have a parent or guardian accept these Terms on your behalf.

3.2 Castallio may refuse service or change eligibility criteria at its sole discretion.

4. Definitions

  • "Course" — any online or cohort-based learning programme offered via the Platform.
  • "Course Content" / "Course Materials" — syllabus, videos, documents, assignments, code, designs, recordings, resources, and related IP.
  • "User" / "Free User" — any person accessing the Platform (registered or not).
  • "Subscriber" / "Paid User" — User who has paid for or subscribed to a Course.
  • "Mentor" — Instructors, trainers or facilitators delivering content on the Platform.

5. Platform Scope & Service Nature

5.1 Castallio is an education/edtech service provider (not a university). Courses and materials are provided for personal, non-commercial learning.

5.2 Courses may be updated, modified, rescheduled, or removed at Castallio's discretion.

5.3 Castallio grants Subscribers a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to access Course Materials for personal educational use only.

5.4 Castallio does not award degrees, diplomas, or qualifications recognized by any statutory body including AICTE, UGC, COA, or any State Government.

6. Registration, Accounts & Security

6.1 To access certain features, you must create an Account and provide accurate information. You agree to update information to keep it current.

6.2 You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and activity. Notify Castallio immediately of any unauthorised usage.

6.3 Castallio may suspend or terminate accounts for false information, violation of Terms, or suspicious activity.

7. User Conduct & Code of Conduct

7.1 Users must comply with applicable laws and refrain from posting prohibited content (illegal, defamatory, pornographic, infringing, abusive or other material prohibited by Castallio).

7.2 Cheating, plagiarism, impersonation, harassment, and interference with the Platform's operation are prohibited.

7.3 Castallio reserves the right to remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

7.4 Castallio reserves the right to report unlawful activities to law-enforcement authorities.

8. User Content & Licenses

8.1 Users retain ownership of content they upload ("User Content"), but by uploading you grant Castallio a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, host, distribute, display and modify such content for operating and promoting the Platform and Services.

8.2 You represent and warrant you have necessary rights to upload User Content and that it does not infringe third-party rights.

8.3 Castallio is an intermediary for User Content; it does not endorse or verify such content and disclaims liability for User Content to the maximum extent permitted by law.

9. Course Purchases, Fees & Payments

9.1 Course pricing, taxes and payment methods are displayed during checkout, and Castallio holds all rights to update these conditions with respect to payments as & when required.

9.2 Payments are processed via third-party payment gateways. Castallio does not store card data; gateways' terms apply.

9.3 You are responsible for all fees and taxes associated with purchases. Castallio may offer EMI, financing or partner payment options; such third parties set their own terms.

9.4 If a pricing error occurs, Castallio may cancel orders or correct invoices.

9.5 In case of cancellation due to pricing errors, the entire amount paid will be refunded to the customer.

10. Refund, Cancellation & Transfer Policy

10.1 Refund and cancellation terms may vary by Course or cohort. Specific refund rules will be displayed on Course pages or the checkout flow.

10.2 Where refunds apply, they will be subject to the timelines, deductions and approval processes specified for that Course.

10.3 Transfers between cohorts or Courses are at Castallio's discretion and subject to the transfer policy communicated by the program expert for the Course while purchasing the course by users.

10.4 Irrespective of the mode of payment, a refund will only be initiated if the user submits a refund request at least 25 (twenty-five) days before the course commencement date. Any request made after this timeline will not be eligible for a refund under any circumstances. Refunds processed within 30 (thirty) working days after approval.

10.5 Castallio does not represent or guarantee that the use of the Payment Gateway will not result in theft and/or unauthorized use of data over the internet.

11. Live Sessions, Recordings & Consent

11.1 Live classes may be recorded. By participating you consent to recording and Castallio's use of such recordings for Product, promotional or educational purposes.

11.2 Castallio may edit, reuse, or distribute recordings; rights granted are non-revocable unless otherwise stated.

11.3 Users shall not record, redistribute, or upload class recordings without permission under any circumstances.

12. Certification & Outcomes

12.1 Any certificate or credential issued is at Castallio's discretion and subject to completion criteria.

12.2 Completion of a Course does not guarantee employment, salary increase or any particular outcome.

13. Placement & Hiring Partners

13.1 Castallio provides placement assistance only. It does not provide placement support, job guarantees, or assured hiring of any kind. Placement assistance may be modified or withdrawn at Castallio's discretion. "Castallio does not guarantee interviews unless explicitly stated in a program."

13.2 Placement assistance, if offered, is subject to separate terms. Castallio is not responsible for third-party hiring decisions or outcomes.

13.3 Hiring Partner access to candidate information is subject to confidentiality and data protection obligations as set out in separate agreements.

13.4 For clarity, placement assistance means that Castallio may offer eligible, paying users fair opportunities to participate in placement drives or hiring processes conducted by our Hiring Partners. This facilitation is optional, non-contractual, and may be withdrawn or altered by Castallio at any time. Castallio will provide paid users with resume review, resume maker, mock interviews, mentor session on how to crack interview.

14. Intellectual Property

14.1 All Platform IP (branding, designs, source, documentation, course structure, trademarks) is the exclusive property of Castallio or its licensors.

14.2 Except for limited license to access content, nothing in these Terms grants ownership to Users.

14.3 Unauthorized reproduction, distribution or creation of derivative works is prohibited.

15. Third-Party Links & Services

15.1 The Platform may link to third-party websites, integrations or tools. Castallio is not responsible for third-party services and their terms apply.

15.2 Use of payment gateways, webinar platforms (Zoom, etc.), or LMS partners may be subject to separate terms and technical constraints.

16. Data, Privacy & Consent

16.1 Castallio's Privacy Policy governs collection and use of personal data. By using the Platform you consent to the collection, storage and processing of your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.

16.2 Castallio will comply with applicable Data Protection Laws (including the IT Act and related rules; GDPR where applicable) and implement commercially reasonable security practices.

16.3 Castallio complies with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) regarding processing, storage, consent, and erasure of personal data.

17. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimer

17.1 The Platform and Services are provided "as is". Castallio disclaims all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law (including fitness for purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation).

17.2 Castallio is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages (loss of profits, data loss, business interruption).

18. Indemnification

18.1 You agree to indemnify, defend and hold Castallio and its officers, employees and partners harmless from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, your User Content, or your use of the Services.

19. Termination & Suspension

19.1 Castallio may suspend or terminate access to the Platform for breach of Terms, illegal activity, or misuse.

19.2 On termination certain rights (access to Course Materials, certificates) may cease. Some clauses (IP, indemnity, limitation) survive termination.

20. Copyright Procedure

20.1 Copyright Agent Contact Details: If you believe that any content available on the Platform infringes your intellectual property rights, you may submit a takedown notice to Castallio's designated Copyright Agent at:

20.2 Response Timeline: Upon receiving a complete and valid infringement notice, Castallio will review the request and take appropriate action within 10–15 working days, or within any reasonable time permitted by applicable law.

20.3 Required Statements by the Complainant: To be considered valid, the infringement notice must include physical or electronic signature, identification of copyrighted work, detail of allegedly infringing material, contact information, and a statement of good-faith belief.

21. Force Majeure

21.1 Castallio is not liable for delays or failures attributable to events beyond reasonable control (act of god / natural disasters, strikes, internet outages, government actions).

22. Amendments

22.1 Castallio may modify these Terms by posting the updated version on the Platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

23. Miscellaneous

23.1 Entire Agreement: These Terms, Privacy Policy and any course-specific terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Castallio.

23.2 Severability: Invalid or unenforceable provisions shall be severed without affecting the rest.

23.3 Assignment: You may not assign your rights under these Terms. Castallio may assign or transfer rights without consent.

23.4 No Waiver: Failure to exercise any right is not a waiver of that right.
